About the Summit

UX Summit Luxembourg brings together the leaders and expert practitioners designing digital systems that must be trusted, in regulated, complex and high-stakes environments, across finance, energy, healthcare and government. It is built for heads, directors, principals and leads who work where regulation, governance and risk shape every design decision, and who rarely find a room pitched at their level.

Built for regulated and high-stakes work

Built for regulated and high-stakes work

The programme addresses UX where the stakes are real: systems constrained by compliance, safety, legacy architecture and consequence. This is the work most UX conferences leave out of the programme.

02

Senior by research & design

Senior by research & design

The room is intentionally senior. The audience is drawn from senior, lead, principal, director, and head roles, and speakers from lead level and above, so the conversations start where general conferences stop. Speakers are selected on merit only.

03

Governance treated as the substance, not the caveat

Governance treated as the substance, not the caveat

Ethics, accountability and regulatory constraint are not a closing note here. They are the centre of the discussion, examined across five tracks by people who design under those constraints every day.

What we stand for.

Regulated, complex, high-stakes.

This summit is built for the work most UX conferences leave out of the programme: designing systems shaped by regulation, risk, safety and legacy constraint. The stakes are real, and so is the depth of the conversation.

Merit only. No paid slots.

Partners support this summit because they believe in its purpose, not because they bought a place on the stage. Every speaker is selected on the relevance and seniority of their work. Partnership grants visibility, never a speaking slot.

Senior by design.

The room is built for the people who make UX decisions with real consequence: seniors, leads, principals, directors, and heads. Keeping the level high is deliberate, because it lets the conversation begin where most conferences have to stop.

Partner with the summit

UX Summit Luxembourg works with a small number of partners who share its purpose: raising the standard of UX in regulated, complex and high-stakes environments. Partnership offers direct access to a senior, hard-to-reach audience, and a way to support the conversation this field needs. Partnership grants visibility, never a speaking slot. Every speaker is selected on merit.

Got questions? We've got answers.

What is UX Summit Luxembourg?

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission Street, San Francisco. It's a 2-minute walk from Powell Street BART station. Valet parking is available on Mission Street from 8:00 AM.

Who is it for?

This summit is built for senior practitioners, Heads, Directors, Principals, and Leads, working on UX in regulated, complex, and high-stakes systems. The room is intentionally senior, so the conversations start where most conferences stop. It is not a summit for beginners, for portfolio or career advice, or for generalist consumer-product UX. That focus is deliberate. It is what allows the level of discussion the audience comes for.

What makes it different from other UX conferences?

Most UX conferences are built for a broad, general audience and cover the full range of design practice. This one does the opposite. It concentrates entirely on UX in regulated, complex, and high-stakes environments, the settings where compliance, risk, and governance shape what design can and cannot do. That single focus is the difference. Speakers, tracks, and audience are all drawn from sectors where the stakes are real, so the depth of the discussion reflects it.

What does the programme cover?

The programme is organised into five tracks: Designing for Complex Systems, on UX within legacy, multi-stakeholder, and technically constrained environments. AI, Trust and Transparency, on designing AI systems that are accountable and comprehensible under real governance. UX at Scale, on running design across large organisations, brands, and disciplines. High-Stakes Design, on UX where safety, security, and consequence are central. UX Leadership and Strategy, on leading design as a governance and business function.

How are speakers selected?

Speakers are selected on merit only. Every speaker is chosen for the relevance and seniority of their work in regulated, complex, or high-stakes environments. There are no paid speaking slots, and sponsorship does not grant a place on the programme.

Can organisations partner with or sponsor the summit?

Yes. A range of partnership options is available for organisations that want to reach a senior, regulated-sector audience. Partnership packages are separate from the programme: they do not include a speaking slot, as speakers are selected on merit only. To discuss partnership, please get in touch via contact@uxsummit.lu.
