I've felt the highs and stings of performance by swimming in triathlons; I understood strategy by growing bonsai.

I am a Design Director with a background in software architecture and 20 years of experience in the enterprise technology space. Currently leading the B2B design organization at Bitdefender, my work is centered on bringing to market new products in ever-shifting cybersecurity areas as well as helping resource-constrained security professionals do more with less.

I greatly enjoy nurturing designer careers, having developed job descriptions and performance evaluations as well as coaching neurodivergent designers overcome their struggles and navigate the corporate world (aka teaching a fish to climb a tree).

In my spare time I do my best to spend time with my wife, two kids, 3 cats, one dog and a never-ending list of hobbies that are currently revolving around bonsai, pottery, drawing and photography.
