Sander Viegers

Sander Viegers is Head of Design at Rabobank, where he leads a multidisciplinary organisation of more than 100 designers and researchers shaping end-to-end experiences for millions of customers and employees. Together with his teams, he drives the design of products, services, and customer journeys across consumer banking, business banking, and internal platforms.
His focus is on scaling design as a strategic capability by building high-performing teams, fostering a customer-centric culture, and establishing the governance, operations, and practices that enable more than 200 agile product teams to deliver measurable business and customer impact.
Prior to joining Rabobank, Sander held design and product leadership roles at Microsoft, Amazon, and Catawiki. He holds a Master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Delft University of Technology and is a named inventor on multiple design patents.
